Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)
The competition seeks to stimulate conversations about our environment and the impact of climate change through compelling stories about nature, people, forests, landscapes, and the varied effects of climate change.
Developed in partnership by Forestry England, Parker Harris, and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), Earth Photo organizes exhibitions, awards, and events that celebrate photography and moving images, highlighting the beauty, resilience, and fragility of our planet and its inhabitants.
In 2024, Earth Photo’s shortlisted works were exhibited at the Royal Geographical Society in London . A selection of these photos have now gone on a national tour to various Forestry England sites, including Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, Dalby Forest, Haldon Forest Park, Fineshade Wood, Grizedale Forest, the Sidney Nolan Trust in Herefordshire, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall.
Earth Photo has reached a large audience through its touring exhibitions and media coverage and is stimulating vital conversations about climate change and sustainability, highlighting the impact on nature and people and encouraging discussions around possible solutions.
